Plus and Pro plans only: to buy additional credits (top up) in Event Design App, open the account menu, choose Subscription, select a pack in the Credits card, click Buy N credits and pay in Stripe Checkout. Credit packs are one-time top-ups, and purchased credits expire one month after purchase. Free accounts cannot buy packs.
You're halfway through a project and the app says you've run out of credits. Credit packs are one-time top-ups that you can buy on a Plus or Pro plan without changing your subscription.
📺 Upgrade, Buy Credits, Open Billing, and Cancel Correctly — credit packs, billing and cancellation checks.
Four rules apply to credit packs.
Credit packs are for Plus and Pro. On Free, the Buy credits area shows Credit packs are available on Plus and Pro plans. Free has no AI credits.
Purchased credits expire. The Buy credits section is labeled One month expiry: purchased credits last one month from purchase. Don't buy far ahead of when you'll use them.
Packs are one-time. They add to your balance. They don't change your plan, billing date or monthly allowance.
Packs may be turned off. If you see Credit packs unavailable, try again later or contact support.
To buy a credit pack on an individual account:
Open the account menu at the top right.
Choose Subscription.
In the Credits card, find Buy credits. Select a pack. Each button shows the credits you get (for example +100) and its price.
Check the highlighted pack, then click Buy N credits.
Complete payment in Stripe Checkout. Check the account, price and the amount before you pay.
You're returned to the app. Confirm the purchase by checking the success banner, your balance and your credit history.
💡 Out of credits mid-task? If you start an AI action with too few credits, the dialog shows This action needs N credits. You have M. with the same pack choices, so you can buy right there. Plus and Pro accounts see this.
Company accounts only: in a company workspace, only owners and administrators buy credits.
Open Company Dashboard from the account menu, then Team & Subscription.
On the member's row, choose Add credits. If your company uses a shared pool, the button reads Add pool credits.
The dialog names who the credits are for and shows Current and After purchase balances.
Select a pack. For example, in the Academy lesson the 100-credit pack was $30 and moved a balance of 158 to 258.
Read the notice: the company card is charged and the credits go to the member (or the pool).
Confirm to go to Stripe Checkout, or Cancel to close without buying.
⚠ Selecting a pack only changes the preview. Nothing is charged until you confirm in Stripe Checkout. Cancel closes the review without a purchase.
Prices vary by pack and can change. Read the amount on the pack button and in Stripe Checkout at the time you buy.
A redirect back from Stripe is not proof the purchase finished. Check three things:
The banner. A successful purchase shows Credits were successfully added. A cancelled checkout shows Credit purchase was cancelled. No credits were added.
The balance. In Subscription (or in the company Credits tab), the purchased balance goes up by the pack size. The modal shows how many purchased credits you have and the expiry date.
The history. In a company, open Credits and set Kind to Credit Purchase. The purchase should appear there. An empty list means the filter matched nothing; click Reset and check the dates.
⚠ If checkout was interrupted or the result is unclear, don't buy again yet. Check your balance and history first. A second purchase of the same pack charges you twice if the first one went through.
If you see Credit checkout could not be synced. Refresh this page to retry., refresh the page and check your balance before doing anything else.
I don't see any Buy credits button. You may be on Free (packs need Plus or Pro), a standard company member (ask your administrator), or your subscription may need a payment fix (a Payment required notice with a Resolve payment button).
I'm told "Payment required". Your subscription payment needs attention and paid features are paused. Click Resolve payment and update your payment method. Buying credits is also blocked until payment is confirmed.
I paid but my balance didn't change. Refresh the page, then check Subscription or the company Credit Purchase history before contacting support. Include the date and pack size.
My purchased credits disappeared. Purchased credits expire one month after purchase. The modal shows the date. Expiries appear in credit history.
I bought credits for the wrong person. The preview names the member before you pay. Once purchased, credits belong to that member (or the pool). Contact support if you need a correction.
Yes. Purchased credits last one month from purchase, and the Buy credits section is labeled One month expiry. The Subscription modal shows how many purchased credits you have and the expiry date, and expiries appear in credit history. Do not buy far ahead of when you will use them.
No. Credit packs are for Plus and Pro. On Free, the Buy credits area shows Credit packs are available on Plus and Pro plans. because Free has no AI credits. Upgrade to Plus or Pro first, then buy a pack from Subscription. A pack is one-time and does not change your billing date.
A redirect back from Stripe is not proof the purchase finished. Refresh the page, then check Subscription, or the company Credit Purchase history, for the new balance. Do not buy again until you have checked, or you may be charged twice. If it still has not changed, contact support with the date and pack size.
You may be on Free, because credit packs need Plus or Pro. You may be a standard company member, in which case ask your company administrator, since only owners and administrators buy credits. Your subscription may also need a payment fix, which blocks buying until you choose Resolve payment.
Only company owners and administrators can (company accounts only). Open Company Dashboard, then Team & Subscription, and choose Add credits on the member's row, or Add pool credits for a shared pool. Select a pack, check the Current and After purchase balances, and confirm in Stripe Checkout. The company card is charged.
