For anyone who receives a link, on any account or none (the sender needs edit access to create it). A shared plan link in Event Design App opens a read-only 3D viewer (anyone with the link can view, not edit) of someone's event layout in your browser, with no account or sign-in needed. You can orbit, pan and zoom, but you cannot edit anything. If you see Shared Plan Unavailable, ask the sender for a fresh link.
Someone sent you a link to their event layout and you want to look around it, not learn software. You do not need an account, and you cannot change anything by accident. The link opens a read-only viewer in your browser.

To open a shared plan, click the link or paste the whole address into your browser. It loads the plan with no sign-in.
⚠ Use the complete address. A shortened, trimmed or edited link may no longer point to a valid shared plan. If your email app or chat tool wrapped the link across two lines, copy it again from the start.

The header across the top of the shared viewer shows three things:
The plan title.
The company logo and company name of whoever shared it.
Shared view and View only labels, which stay visible the whole time.
The sender chose this plan and this saved layout. What you see is what they intended to show you.
In the shared viewer, you can orbit, pan and zoom to inspect the layout from any angle. Some plans open in an overhead view that includes the tent roof, which hides the tables underneath. Use Slice Above 2m in the view controls to cut the roof away, then zoom in on the tables.

No. The shared viewer is view only. This is by design, so you can explore freely:
There is no Catalog, no transform tools and no Save button.
Clicking a table or chair does not open a properties panel.
You cannot move, delete or recolor anything. Nothing you do in the viewer changes the sender's plan.
💡 Want to suggest a change? Take a screenshot or note the table numbers and send them back to the sender. They edit the real plan; you only view it.
Some senders embed a plan inside their own website instead. An embedded view can drop the header entirely, but it is the same read-only viewer.
If a shared link is broken, you may see Shared Plan Unavailable, with a short reason underneath.

⚠ Do not click Go to Login to fix this. The button sends you to the sign-in page. It does not repair the link, and you do not need an account to view a working one.
The sender is the only person who can fix a broken link. They reopen the plan, choose Share, then Copy share link, and send you the new address.
It says Shared Plan Unavailable. The address is wrong, incomplete or no longer active. Ask the sender to copy a fresh link and send the whole address.
It says Share link not found. The address does not match a shared plan, usually because part of it was cut off when it was pasted. Copy the full link again, or ask the sender to resend it.
It asks me to log in (shows Go to Login). A working viewer link does not. Make sure you opened the address from Copy share link, not the sender's editor address, which does need an account.
I can only see a roof and no furniture. The plan was saved from an overhead view. Turn on Slice Above 2m to cut the roof away.
I clicked a table and nothing opened. Correct. The viewer is View only, so there are no properties or editing tools.
I want to move a table. You cannot, and the sender's plan is protected from changes made here. Ask the sender to make the edit.
Does the link ever stop working? If a link expires or stops matching a shared plan, you will see Shared Plan Unavailable, and the sender can send a new one.
No. A shared plan link opens a read-only viewer in your browser with no sign-in. If you are asked to log in, you probably opened the sender's editor address instead of the address from Copy share link. Ask the sender to resend the share link.
