In Event Design App, a share link opens a read-only viewer of your plan (layout) in any browser, with no account and no editor controls. Save the plan, open Share in the editor, choose Copy share link, wait for Sharing to finish, then test the full address signed out before sending it to your client. This works on every account type.

Before you share a plan, make sure it is saved and ready for a client to see.
Open the plan you want to share and check that the contents are right for a client to see.
Select Save and wait for it to finish.

⚠ Copy the whole address and don't shorten or edit it. A trimmed or altered address may no longer point to a valid shared plan.
To test a share link, open the full address in a private window or a different browser where you're signed out. That tells you whether the link works without your editor session.
You should see the plan load with no sign-in, labeled Shared view and View only.
What the viewer offers:
Orbit, pan and zoom, and view controls such as Slice Above 2 m, which cuts away the tent roof from the saved overhead view so the tables underneath show.
No Catalog, no transform tools, no Save button.
Clicking a table does not open Properties.

The viewer header shows your plan title, company logo and company name (set on company accounts). Confirm they are what you want the client to see. Branding comes from your company profile (see Export PDF, PNG, or video for where to set it).
An incomplete or wrong share address does not open the plan. The client sees Shared Plan Unavailable, with a message such as Share link not found. If a link has expired, the page says This share link has expired instead.
The Go to Login button on that page will not repair the address. Check the complete link first.
To recover: return to the editor plan, open Share and Copy share link again, then test the new full address.
⚠ There are no expiry or revoke settings in the Share menu. Don't promise a client a link that "turns off" on a date. The menu offers Copy share link and Embed iframe, nothing more.
💡 Test the link after any plan change. Open the full address once more to confirm it shows what you intend before sending it to the client.
My client says it asks them to log in. Check you sent the complete address from Copy share link, not the editor URL from your browser's address bar.
I see "Shared Plan Unavailable". The address is wrong or incomplete. Copy a fresh link from the editor and send that.
The link shows "Share link not found". Same cause: the address doesn't match a shared plan. Re-copy it in full.
My client can't move the furniture. Intended. The viewer is View only; they can look around but can't edit.
